Botox Post-Care Instructions
Immediately After Treatment:
Touching and Pressure: Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated areas for at least 24 hours to prevent migration of Botox.
Positioning: Refrain from lying down or bending over for 4 hours post-treatment to minimize the risk of Botox moving from the injection site.
First Week:
Exercise and Heat: Avoid vigorous exercise and exposure to excessive heat, such as saunas or hot tubs, to reduce the risk of swelling and other side effects.
Facial Treatments: Do not undergo facials or other facial treatments during this time to allow the Botox to settle properly.
General Care:
Follow-Up: If you experience any unusual side effects or if the results are not as expected, contact your provider immediately for further evaluation and guidance.
Additional Notes:
Hydration and Skincare: Maintain good hydration and follow your provider’s advice on skincare, but avoid applying any products directly to the treated areas until your provider approves.
