FOTONA TREATMENT PRECAUTIONS

Fotona 4D Pro | Fotona Skin Resurfacing | Fotona Eyelase

Immediately After Treatment:

  • Redness and Swelling: Expect mild redness and swelling. These effects are normal and should subside within a few hours to a couple of days.

  • Product Application: Apply the prescribed soothing moisturizer or aloe vera gel to calm the skin.

  • Avoid Touching: Refrain from touching or scratching the treated area.

Day of Treatment:

  • Face Washing: Do not wash your face with hot water. For non-peeling treatments, you can wash your face and shower normally using simple moisturizing products. For peeling treatments, avoid water contact, ointments, makeup, or skincare products. Wait for any scabs to fall off naturally. Focus on hydration and sun protection, using physical sunscreens.

First Week:

  • Makeup and Skincare Products: Avoid applying makeup or using harsh skincare products, including exfoliants, retinoids, fruit acids, salicylic acid, high-concentration vitamin C, or alcohol.

  • Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Reapply every 2 hours if you’re outside.

  • Heat and Exercise: Refrain from strenuous exercise and excessive heat (such as saunas or hot tubs) for at least 48 hours.

General Care:

  • Hydration: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

  • Follow-Up: Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments to assess your progress.

Additional Notes:

  • Post-Laser Treatment: You might notice "small closed pores and slight acne" after laser treatment, which will resolve in 1-2 weeks.

  • Face Washing Timing: For non-invasive treatments, you can wash your face the day after treatment. For invasive treatments, wait until the scab forms before touching water. Avoid rubbing your face hard. Makeup can be worn on the second day after non-invasive treatments.

Following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth recovery and optimal results from your treatment. If you have any concerns or unusual symptoms, contact us for further advice.
